Registration is open until 10:45am the day of the event, and can be completed on site. Use coupon code nitro for $5 off when registering online. All contestants will sign a liability waiver and must wear protective gear including saw chaps and ear and eye protection while in the competition area. Bidwell Hardware will have personal protection equipment on hand for purchase.

All 7 classes will run in 8 inch square Virginia pine cants.

Firewood classes (3, 4, 5, 6 cubic inch) will all be hot start on the ground and 3 cuts. Top 3 overall in these classes will be awarded. 

Open Fuel classes (3 and 5 cubic inch stock appearing, open pipe) will be cold start on the ground, and 3 cuts. Prizes also awarded to the overall top three in these classes. 

Point allocation for all classes: 10 points for first, 8 for second, 6 for third, 4 points for fourth, and 2 for fifth. 

Overall champion with the most points of the day will be honored as fastest in the hills.
